When the kids come home to visit.

This move was hard, for so many reasons. Really hard for my older son, since he was so much older and loved where we lived last. No matter the duty assignment we'd pulled after our last, he'd never be happy. His heart was at home in Oklahoma with his friends.

I've missed my sons friends. They are all such great kids. I was their Other Mom. And like a mom, I've really missed them. I just realized it was almost a third of the way through December and I still knew nothing of their travel plans. The twins, my *good* sons are coming for the holidays. They'll be on break from college and anxious to just get out of town. Antone will be anxious to get here and hang with his best bud, my son, and Zach, his identical twin, will be here to work the ladies. (Lord, save us all!)

We'd hoped for a couple more to come down, but work schedules would not allow for it.

Anyway, I suddenly feel that my kids are coming home--it feels like Christmas. :) Funny thing, huh? Anyway, much to do, much to plan. Gotta figure out how we are all going to arrange the sleep overs with the Love of My Life's kids coming too. I am going to go broke feeding 7 teenage mouths! :)

Lord have mercy. I don't know how you do it Jules. Hehe! You're house is going to be packed! I know how much you love 'em though so I know it's going to be fun for you too! Merry Christmas!
